Had lunch here for the first time, my family have been before but I hadn't. All of our meals were delicious, we didn't have the carvery, so can't speak on that but my dessert was incredible! Highly recommend. Plenty of seating and plenty of parking, in the summer it must be lovely to sit outside as the view of Oulton broad is beautiful.
Fantastic evening in the Castle carvery. Lots of attention from staff and a great service. Special attention was given to our grandson. The food was great and plentiful, with busy staff always checking in that everyone was ok. Certainly worth a Christmas or anytime visit. Great value for money on drinks and food.
This feeding people on an industrial scale the Carvery is packed solid at the weekends, first come first served. The food is reasonable quality for a very reasonable price. It is an eat all you can carry kind of place and some people can carry quite a lot. There are lots of local customers who use the place on a regular basis, so must be pretty good. The atmosphere is buzzy and bizzy with lots of chatter, there is plenty of parking.. The table staff are really nice, friendly, the carvery staff put in a hard shift. If you are in the area and want a good reasonably priced Sunday dinner, this is certainly worth a go.
Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
Nearest first, then across the Rio Grande Valley.
